Innovation Ecosystem Strategist
In 2017, I was appointed by Mayor Steinberg as the City of Sacramento’s first Chief Innovation Officer. In that capacity, I am responsible for scaling up the Innovation Ecosystem through partnerships and programs.
I am a tireless seeker of knowledge, occasional purveyor of wisdom and also, a father, a brother and son. I’m a seasoned and passionate leader that has managed and motivated interdisciplinary teams with a proven track record for translating complex ideas into success. I’ve worn every hat on the rack and built partnerships from the ground up.
Don’t let my calm demeanor and weakness for nice suits fool you because I am a competitor at heart. My goal is to collaborate with folks like and achieve great things so that when I’m gone my kids can follow my accomplishments like breadcrumbs.
