My family settled here in the early 80’s. I made friends here just like I had in France and Italy the years before. After graduating from John F. Kennedy High in the late 80s, I left and swore I would not ever be back.
Now looking back so many years later. Sacramento is the town that raised me. Although most of my family doesn’t live here, Sacramento helped me understand what family is. Now, here I am doing what I can to influence the perception of the city I grew up in. This is a great city. From the food to the art and now to the tech, Sacramento is growing up. It’s the capital of the 5th largest global economy, Sacramento has the ability to shape the future just as we did in the past.
